Who these terms are for
Chronos Timesheet is provided by Chronos Applications to firms that use it to record working time, leave and remote work. These terms apply to the firm and to every person the firm gives an account. Where the firm has a written agreement with Chronos Applications, that agreement comes first.
Your account
Accounts are created by your firm’s administrators, who also decide what each role may see and do. Keep your password to yourself and tell your administrator at once if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what is entered under it.
Using the system properly
Record your time, leave and requests truthfully. Do not try to see or change data you have not been given access to, interfere with the system, or copy or reverse engineer the software.
The firm’s data
Everything entered into Chronos Timesheet belongs to the firm. The firm decides what is collected about its people and is responsible for having a lawful reason to do so. Chronos Applications handles that data only to provide, maintain and support the system, and does not sell it or use it for advertising.
Records, not advice
Timesheets, approvals and reports are a record of what was entered. The firm is responsible for checking them before using them for payroll, billing clients or meeting any legal obligation. Nothing in the system is legal, tax or employment advice.
Availability and changes
The system is updated from time to time and features may change. It is not guaranteed to be available without interruption. Where the firm hosts the system on its own servers, the firm is responsible for those servers and for backups.
No warranty
To the extent the law allows, Chronos Timesheet is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will be error-free or fit for a particular purpose, and Chronos Applications is not liable for indirect loss arising from its use.
Changes and questions
These terms may be updated; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions go to your firm’s administrator, who can reach Chronos Applications.
