Terms of use
Chronos POS is in development and has not yet been certified by the Tax Administration of Kosovo. Until it is, it must not be used to issue fiscal coupons for real sales.
Who these terms are for
Chronos POS is a point-of-sale application provided by Chronos Applications to businesses in Kosovo. These terms apply to the business and to everyone it lets use the application.
Your responsibilities as a business
You are responsible for what you enter: your items, prices, quantities, tax rates and business details. The application issues coupons from that information and cannot know when it is wrong. Your tax obligations remain yours, including declaring and paying what is due.
Fiscal records and the signing key
Fiscal coupons are signed with a key kept on your device. Keep that device secure, do not share access to it, and do not attempt to alter, delete or work around fiscal records. Tell us at once if a device is lost, stolen or compromised.
Using the application properly
Use Chronos POS only for your own lawful sales. Do not copy, modify or reverse engineer it, and do not use it in businesses that need certified hardware it does not support, such as fuel stations and taxis.
Updates
How fiscal data is produced, stored and sent is regulated, so the application may need to be updated when the rules change. You are responsible for installing updates when they are released.
No warranty
To the extent the law allows, Chronos POS is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and Chronos Applications is not liable for indirect loss, lost sales or penalties arising from incorrect data you entered.
Changes and questions
These terms will change as the application approaches release; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions go to the contact who provided you with the application.
